[RESOLVED] str_replace won't work

$hb = 'hasbox="2"';
$descr = str_replace($hb,"",$descr);

For some reason str_replace doesn't delete hasbox="2" from text. I am doing something wrong?

Perhaps the text does not contain 'hasbox="2"'.

It contains. I checked several times. I don't know what is "hasbox" Internet Explorer for some reason adds "hasbox" to all <font> tags in WYSIWYG editor.

All font tags look like this:
<font color=#ff0000 hasbox="2">

So, I wanted to use str_replace to remove all "hasboxes", but it doesn't work. 🙁

Hold on: if you are saying that Internet Explorer is adding that attribute everywhere, then that is strange, and trying to remove them using PHP will not help since they only get added after they are sent to the client, long after PHP has finished processing.

Just discovered that this problem with "hasbox" is caused by a javascript. There is some kind of conflict between scripts.
