Has anyone used the Amazon EC2 or another Cloud Computing Platform?
I was looking into it as a dedicated VPS costs much more than what I can see for a single Linux Instance on EC2.
Considering my project at least for the first year or so (that I want a dedicated server for) won't have a heavy amount of transfer, nor be large capacity, looking at 10gb of data (including database).
Unless I am drunk - which is entirely possible, the pricing seems too cheap:
- Small Instance (Default) 1.7 GB of memory, 1 EC2 Compute Unit (1 virtual core with 1 EC2 Compute Unit), 160 GB of instance storage, 32-bit platform
If anyone has had experience with this, or knows of anything I could be wary of before purchasing this, please let me know.
