Adding a target="_blank"

Hello,

I am trying to modify the following line of code:

$quote .= "<span class=\"qauthor\"><a href='".trim($this->link)."'>".htmlspecialchars(trim($this->author))."</a></span></span></p>\n";

For one of two things... One have the link not be active... Printed is ok, just not a link, or add a target="_blank" statement so that the link opens up in a new window...

Would anyone be able to show me the way?

For no link remove the <a .*> and </a>, for the other just add it between the a and the href ...

I don't know what was escaping me... I had rewritten that line a bunch of times...

With your help, I was able to get it... Thanks, so much... 🙂
