I want to sell a ebook but i want them to give access to read only. I don't want them to download and keep in there machines and send to there friends!

Can anybody suggest something. PDF is not secure type.

i need some thing full proof way to do that.

I have heard this file .scb type but not sure how to use this.

can anyone please help me.

Theres no full proof way do do this. What ever format you use it can be sent to others.

some one told me there is some say using digital signature or use this .SCB File Extension.

You could look into publishing it at Amazon for the Kindle, Barnes and Noble for the Nook, Mobipocket.com, etc. They all sell DRM'd versions which are not transferable (at least not supposed to be).

we all know there's ways around that. if it appears on screen i can take a screen shot, and ocr it.

Thus I said "(at least not supposed to be)" 😉 It will certainly deter most non-geeks from doing so and most of the honest geeks. Then you're left with the dishonest geeks with the time, interest, and inclination to do so, which hopefully will be a very small minority of your user base.

Problem is the dishonest geeks then upload to file sharing sites, giving access to the dishonest non geeks. So most of theses types of protections only work 'against' the honest.

The honest would probably respect a simply copyright statement, so that would have the same result with less effort.

The number of honest people in the world seems to shrink daily.

Every publisher knows there will be copies in one form or another, there's no 100% perfect solution, all you can do is spend as much effort\money as you think it's worth while making it harder.
