Situation... I want to create a phpBB mod for a site where I display a few of the latest post subjects on a page outside of the forum, but, I don't want all of them to have the same subject in the case that one topic in particular is getting a lot of attention.
Out of the table I need post id, topic id, forum id, etc...I need something like SELECT DISTINCT however that limits my results to only one row. I want...let's say LIMIT 5 results and each having a distinct post subject.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
