Ranking counters as part of main table or seperate table

Hi,

The main question is pretty quick but here's a bit of background.

I currently have a table full of records and at the end there are several columns that act as counters to measure the popularity via hits to the page relating to each specific record.

There is a counter for the daily hits to a page, weekly hits, total hits (all incremented by 1 with each pageview) as well as a daily rank and yesterday's rank to measure movement of rank from day to day. I want to expand this to include this week/last week and this month/last month rank columns.

My question is, would it be better to have these 8+ counter columns at the end of the main table or in their own table given that they are updated throughout each day when a page gets a hit.

If I haven't explained well enough let me know and I'll try to expand on it.

in the same circumstances I would keep them all in the one table.

Thanks for the quick answer. I'm never sure if a 'long' table is better than separate smaller ones, especially when in this case there will be many rows updated regularly purely for the counter purposes.
