MySQL web interface

Hey
The server I'm currently working on does not allow external MySQL clients, and uses the phpMyAdmin web interface. I feel I can't work as efficiently with this as I could with an standard MySQL terminal. Do any of you know of an web interface that is more similar to a standard terminal interface?

Do they allow SSH? If so, SSH to the server, then mysql -u username -p and you have your CLI.
