Godalming to Texas - quite a change!
There was a lot of potential IMO (80M+ pageviews/mo at sale), but there was a lot more corporate bull***t that got in the way. Fortunately I realized this pretty early on, left the company, and cashed out well before they blew everything to high hell.
It was really disappointing for a while, but I did learn a lot about business (and how not to do business) in general. Most likely a once in a life time experience, and I'm really grateful for it!
re godalming to TX: yes indeed a real change! I actually spent a few years in TX about 10 years ago, so it's not so strange to me. Austin is a cool city and is a great place to run a tech business!
