Yes, using a session cookie works to let a page expire but only if the page has been refreshed. If the user hits the browser "back" button, it does not. So, the question remains: how can I let a page expire (remove from cache) ?😕
If you're talking about the browser cache the best you can do is send appropriate cache-control [man]header[/man]s. Any sensible browser will pay attention to them.
