Clean install on RackSpace??

Hey all, I'm trying to fulflll the requirements for a Magento server. Which are:

Apache 2.2.x
PHP Compatibility:
5.2
Required extensions:
o PDO_MySQL
o simplexml
o mcrypt
o hash
o GD
o DOM
o iconv
o curl
o SOAP (if Webservices API is to be used)
Safe_mode off
Memory_limit no less than 256Mb (preferably 512)

MySQL:
4.1.20 or newer
InnoDB storage engine

RackSpace offers nice CentOS 5.3 and 5.4 servers.

If you're running Rackspace Dedicated servers, they should be able to install the required software for you (so long as your service contract includes it).

Otherwise, you should only really need to execute these commands:

$ yum install mysql mysql-server

$ yum install php php-cli php-bcmath php-gd php-mbstring php-mcrypt php-mhash php-mysql php-pdo php-soap php-xml php-xmlrpc

That should be it.

Then just run the Magento installer.
