IE8 problem - blank screen

Ok so this is a huge annoyance...

when i open one of my pages in ie8 it shows a blank screen... when i open it in FF its fine, safari, its fine, etc...

php: 5.2.12
vista/iis7
fast cgi

i'm using the iis7 url rewrite module also...

if you right click and view source, you can see the entire source. but when you use the developer tools it abruptly ends the body tag not showing anything.

i've tried to take out all the javascript, i've tried to remove the google ad. i've asked on a ie developer forum and they said to validate the page with wc3 :rolleyes:

anyone know what the deal is... i turned on error display and nothing is showing.

Run the page through the HTML validator and the CSS validator and address all the errors. Then see if it works OK. (Unlike PHP which will simply throw a syntax error and not process if you have invalid code, browsers will try to "guess" what to do when there are mark-up errors, and different browsers may make different "guesses" -- or just give up.)

its not a html or css problem

for some reason having "&vid=" in the querystring was causing ie to blow chunks.

i changed it to pvid and it works. maybe there is something inside one of my url rewrites
