[HELP] get separate text from other site

just want to ask i have this kind of data

the question is how to to get data from that site and show in my site, but with this format

name : tedy bear
name : panda big
name : panda little

and then the other format

name : tedy bear price: $5
name : panda big price: $5
name : panda little price: $5

please give me the full sample code

everyone here has their first post. Your question needs refinement. Basically there are a thousand ways to get data from another site - but are you puling it from the same database or can you, or do you have to grab the info through a process like reading the page remotely.

I suggest you search the web and look for tutorials first (there are plenty out there), and then light off in a direction and then seek help when you have a specific question. Or be more specific about what you're seeking. Meant in the best of intents 🙂

no offence given or taken. What I meant to say was, your post is very indefinite and it's hard to offer a solution when it may not be what your are asking. I suggest you work on cutting down your question to a specific problem. Do you have access to the other site's database, or are you pulling this data by curl or something like that?

no i dont have access to database since there is no data base, only flat file that always update manually by hand, so that site will update by editing html code everyday, and i want to show that page on other site, but only separate text so its like scrape page or something similar that

if that is the case I suggest you take a look at the HTML structure of the table the data is in and see if you can isolate it by functions like preg_match() and preg_split(). e.g.

$out= `curl www.thatsite.com/thatpage.htm`;
preg_match('/<table class="data"[^>]*>((.|\s)*?)<\/table>/i', $out, $a);
$table=$a[1];
//now use preg_split() to further break up the data..

that's all I can help you with without starting to evaluate it yourself. Once you get started you'll have some ideas on how to proceed that might lead to more specific questions

I'd rather recommend DOM.
You will need to append/prepend doctype, html, head and body. Optionally the head element needs a <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> if you wish to support other charaters than those in iso-8859-1.
