[RESOLVED] Text submit button doesn't display text with quotes properly

I have a submit form button which is a text:

<input type=\"submit\" value=\"$subject\" class=\"text_button\" />

For few reasons I would like to keep it that way, but the problem is when $subject contains quotes, HTML takes that the first quote is the end of the "value", so it only displays text up to 1 character before the first quote. To make it clear:

$subject = 'Subject "one"';

Displays:

Subject

Instead of:

Subject "one"

Any workarounds that can come up to you guys minds ??

This works:

$subject = 'Subject "one"';
$subject = htmlspecialchars($subject);
echo "<input type=\"submit\" value=\"$subject\" class=\"text_button\" />";

?>

But the HTML result will look like this

<input type="submit" value="Subject &quot;one&quot;" class="text_button" />
