I am currently using this expression
preg_match('/^X\d{7,10}$/'
to identify a string beginning with a X and having between 7 and 10 digits.

The string has now been changed to be 20 alphanumeric characters, still beginning with an X.

How do I change the preg_match expression to look for this instead?

\d can be replaced with a character class, such as [a-z0-9] to specify all letters and numbers

7,10 can be replaced with a fixed number rather than a range (e.g. 20)

If the alphabetic characters can be mixed case, add an 'i' after the ending '/' delimiter to specify that the pattern match should be case insensitive.

preg_math('/^{X[a-z0-9]{20}$/i'}

Is that correct?
