Download Excel File from server.

I am trying to export (download) an existing excel file from my server to the client.

A few things that I tried downloaded the file successfully but on the client side I could only see garbage characters.

Need something that can successfully handle the excel stream.

Welcome. Please post the code you are using to download the file. Also, Excel is not a stream, it is a data format, which your computer handles. The HTTP server streams the data to you.
