[RESOLVED] Install failed 5.2.12

never mind - I uninstalled & reinstalled and seems fine now. 🙂

On my local PC I had been running 5.2.4 without any problems for a long time. Then I needed to use the curl library and could not get my php.ini to load it. So I tried downloading 5.2.12 and reinstalling, and selected the GD2 and CURL ext's to be included in the build. Now when I reboot, I get this error when Apache 2.2 tries to start:

szAppName : httpd.exe szAppVer : 2.2.8.0 szModName : php5ts.dll

szModVer : 5.2.12.12 offset : 000f34bc

What did I do wrong? 😕

Found this solution with google for the same error

To install php as an Apache module in Apache 2.2.x, the correct dll is: php5apache2_2.dll

You must also stop and start your web server to get any changes made to httpd.conf to take effect.

Change php module from php5ts.dll
I run Apache 2.2 myself and use php5apache2_2.dll

These 3 lines should be in your apache httpd.conf
Change to the path for your PC

LoadModule php5_module "C:/Program/PHP/php5apache2_2.dll"
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .php
PHPIniDir "C:/Program/PHP"
