Im using the latest Joomla through Godaddy service (setup of the database and the installation of it as well through Godaddy). I am also using Windows XP.
I'm trying to increase the size of which I can upload things such as themes to my site, as the theme I am trying to upload from a .zip is surpassed the default of 2M.
I think I found the php.ini file, as it just said php, but within it, using notepad, at the top it said php.ini info or something related to it.
I then went to the correct line within this and changed the default 2M to 15M. Now this php 5.3.0 is within the wamp in my tools section of my computer.
My first question is: Now this php 5.3.0 is within the wamp in my tools section of my computer. Do I need to FTP my site folder of which I have Joomla in and put it there?
Now once I had change the upload_max_filesize, I tried to find the php command line so that I can /sbin/service httpd restart according to what people said on multiple sources, but I had no luck finding the php command line to begin with.
Now I'm not sure if I'm following all these steps right, as I am new to Joomla and the way it works, and if you need any further information as to my problem, I will try to answer with my limited knowledge, as I feel I may just be overlooking it as well.
- Thank you for your help, in advance.
