Music on pages in php

I have 2 websites, one that has music already written in normal embed htlml, and the other which depending on the user is included into the emmbedding through php, however when on tthe first site it works fine just written in, but on the php site when i try to include it im asked to look for plug ins even though the music is on my host atm, does anyone have an explanations for this?

Do you mean that the php script is supposed to generate the same html as you had at first, or that you have a php script serving the content requested by the embed?
In the first case, compare the two sets of html code. Something will differ.
In the second case, you most likely either lack a header for content-type or it is wrong.

o well the code i have for the html website is <embed src="link is here" autostart="true" loop="true"
volume="100" hidden="true" />

so i put it in php so the headed has it in but its like this

<embed src="<?php echo"$collect-music"; ?> (" autostart="true" loop="true"
volume="100" hidden="true" />

Is this the actual page source, as in view page in borwser, rclick, show source, or is it form the file containing the php code?
If the above is actually shown in the page source, then your file is not processed as php code.
If the above came from your php file, then you are looking in the wrong place...

What is $collect-music supposed to mean? As it is now, PHP assumes you mean the variable $collect followed by a hyphen and the word "music".

Also, just after the closing PHP tag, why do you have a space and a '(' ?
