Generating passwords for users upon registration

I'm new here and to php. Please I need a user registration script that generates password upon user registration and sends this generated password to the email provided.

Please this is an urgent project. All help will be highly appreciated.

ok, thanks. but please how can i incorporate that into an existing user system whereby users already have the option of filling in their passwords?
