[RESOLVED] calculating % and giving to after 24 hours

i am making a site for someone but am a little bit stuck, i want it to calculate 3% of the money they put in and after 24 hours give them their money back plus the 3% intrest, i have the money in the bank and the time till they get the money but how would i do this.

Not sure what the actual question is here: how to calculate 3% interest, how to determine if 24 hours have passed, or what?

how would i calculate the 3% intrest from the money they have put in and after the 24 hours have passed give back their money and add the 3% of their begining money to it.

i ahve the time left part, all i need is a bit of code to go in, so that after someone inserts the money value it will go into the bank for 24 hours, after the 24 hours when they go to that page, they get their money back plus the 3 % of the money they put in in the first place. so it would need to calculate 3% of hte money they put in, and after 24 hours give it back plus the money they put in first.

-time stamp the time they enter the funds

-when they go to the page that refunds them + 3% check to see if 24 hours has passed

-if 24 hours has passed, refund $funds * 1.03 to give them the right amount

ok thanks it worked, sorry for the delayed reply i was busy finishing something else, and my internet went down, i will mark it as resolved, however just one more question, why 1.03.

100% + 003% = 103%

1.00 + 0.03 = 1.03
