[RESOLVED] Links List Alphabetical Headings

Hi,

I have created a list of links that I wish to add to my site. Publishing them in alphabetical order is not a problem, but I want to add 'headings' between the letter groups.

e.g.

A

Air Display Team
Azurro

B

Big Thunder Mountain
Boys on Tour

D

Diesels in the Future
Diesels in the Past

and so on.

Is this possible with PHP/SQL?

Schematic idea:

$tmp='';
while($a=mysql_fetch_....)
{
   if the first character from $a["title"] is equal with $tmp then echo the first character as heading
else
   echo $a["title"];   +  set  a new value to $tmp = >  the first character from $a["title"]
}
