I don't see many introduction topics over here but I just feel like making one so that might explain why I'm the only idiot... well you know what I mean 😉
I'm 18 years old, living in the Netherlands in Eindhoven(PSV anyone??) and I'm at high school. We only got one high school(no junior/senior) here and I'm in the last(5th) year of the higher general secondary education. Direction is nature&technics so I got subjects like advanced maths, chemistry, physics and general phyiscal sciences.
In my free time I like to hang out with friends, program and when the sun tends to shine I fly gliders.
My main interests are aviation->gliding, programming and ski'ing.
I fly gliders since my 14th and got my license at my 16th, coming summer I'll be flying my first solo competition.
I've been programming since my 14th aswell mainly because I was interested in computers and there was a group of people that did all the IT stuff at the glidingclub that more or less trained me in programming eventually leading to me building the extranet for the glidingclub in PHP.
After 4 years(in the beginning the learning curve was very flat..) I now program PHP at a descent level(OOP but just starting with MVC structures), js, html, css, C# and VisualBasic.
When I'm finished with highschool I hope to become a military pilot for which I've already started the selections(completed round 1 out of 8 so far). If I fail at all the selections of the major schools I'll probably decide to make my programming hobby my career.
