I am looking to create a sort of compatibility tester in PHP

You know something that with the selected answers will calculate someone's compatibility score with another person. I am having a little trouble even doing this part.

Another part is I wanted to make it so that one person fills it out, then emails it to another person and they fill it out and it measures the comparability by meshing up the two sets of answers. Is this even possible. I am a Php beginner and so confused and frustrated. If anyone can give me ANY help at all. I really mean ANY I will be great full for the rest of my lift.

From what aspect 'compability'?
As friend, working partner, marriage, girlfriend-boyfriend, as identical twin ....

As for living together it is rather complex to predict the outcome.
Sometimes shared interests are good.
But also sometimes difference in personality is great.
They become complementing eachother. Eventhough being very different.

To the point you ask about:
- measures the comparability by meshing up the two sets of answers
This is perfectly possible. I would say it is easy & suitable for PHP scripting.
Naturally, such a test will not be better than the validity of criterias used
to measure any sort of 'compability'.

A great fun project, it would be. In my opinion

Coding and scripting has never been a strong point of mine. Anyone that can help or knows any code it would be very VERY appreciated. I am a bit lost at the minute and could really use a hand if anyone knows any solutions!

Actually, I don't.

This compatibility score calculation requires domain specific knowledge, as halojoy has implied. You simply need to know what you are trying to do; no one else can do your "homework" for you, even if we can suggest directions to take.

Once you have decided what you want to build, try and build it. If and when you get stuck, come back to us for help. At this point, the problem will require programming related knowledge, and thus we can help you.
