Silly question someone please help

Hi,

Im making a classified ads website (using a wordpress plugin). Im just wondering if someone would kindly take the time to help me out with this question or even point me in the right direction.

On my main page it has the categories ex: Cats, Dogs, Houses etc.... straightforward enough.

But I want to make a script so that I can have cities ex: London, Manchester, Leeds, so that when people click there city ONLY adds from that city will show up.

It seems so easy but yet im hitting a brick wall! 🙁

Hoping someone can help me (Im not tooo experienced with PHP so in simple steps or even a URL with a guide. Thanks)

Thanks for your reply. lol I think my question is so even more basic than that. I should explain my question has nothing to do with google ads.

I havent even looked into google ads yet :o

On my site I have a classified ads plugin, so on my main page it has sections like this:

~ Pets~ (then underneath)
Cats
Dogs
Birds
Fish

(A bit like gumtree.com)

I want to have it in such a way so that on the right hand side of the page I can have a list of cities/towns, and when people click their city, ONLY ads from that city will show up. So only Pets located in their city will show up.
