Hello, I'm having some issues with this software; http://everythingcod.com/

I ran the sql tables/data, registered myself as admin and when I try and access the admin link I get sent to; http://everythingcod.com/login.php?returnurl=

But the message it's showing me reads:
[INDENT]
You are currently logged in as jdman321
If this isn't you, please Logout Now.[/INDENT]

Now the problem is, it's supposed to take me somewhere similar to ...admin/index.php or ...admin/login.php, not ...login.php?returnurl=

I have tried messing around with admin/common.php file and also login.php file to try and mess around with the returnurl sections of the files but nothing. I have tried manipulating the URL to point to admin/index.php but it just takes me back to the login.php?returnurl=.

If you need any information from certain files let me know I'll post the coding but please not this is an older php version and I need to work around this issue.

I downloaded a copy of that forum code. (v3.0)

The code is somewhat old (php 4 type).
But with some rewriting it may be a good forum application.

inside: /admin/common.php

$HTTP_POST_VARS is same as what we now call $POST
$HTTP_GET_VARS is same as what we now call $GET
$PHP_SELF we now call $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']
So those I would change.
For running on a modern PHP 5 server
there is plenty of work before it is good code.

Just such thing as <? shorttag, which is used in that code.
Should everywhere be: <?php

Now when I click on the admin link I get this:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/everyt68/public_html/admin/common.php on line 124

I changed the first 3 things you recommended in that file.
