Hi,
I have an order form that will capture things like name, email, quantity ordered, options, etc. I want to take that information, pass it to another form via $_POST, do some calculations based on the info, and present to the user a confirmation page. If they agree the order is correct, they hit confirm, and are taken to a summary page with the whole order, so they can print it, and an email is sent to the site owner.
I believe that I should do the calculations on the confirmation page itself. But I wonder...if they agree everything is good, and hit confirm, will the new variables get passed to the summary page if I list them as hidden variables in the form I have created to house the "Confirm" button?
For some reason, this flow just doesn't seem right. I have the transition from order page to confirmation page working, but it seems like I'm heading down the wrong path for the rest. Any recommendations on how to best address this?
Thanks!
Mark
