[RESOLVED] result of calculation- descnding

I made calculation from a query .
result of that query need to be presented in desending order based on the calculation result.

how sould I do this?

Well, you didn't show us your SQL query nor did you tell us what DBMS you were using, so... use an 'ORDER BY' (or the equivalent in your DBMS) clause to order the rows.

I am using mysql
here is the query

$sql = "select * from lesson where subject = 'science' and verified = 'yes' ";
from this result, calculation will be made..
it is quite long calculation to show here .

let say the above query returns 5 result, all of these 5 results will be presented with their weight.. '.$weight.'

now I want the results to be presented according to desendiing weight.
the idea is - order by '.$weight.' desc

Oh, I had assumed the "calculation" was done in the query itself.

If it's done in PHP, simply store the results into an array, do the calculations, and then order the array according to the weight.
