Pagination Question

Hi all

I have my pagination working fine between my results however I need to add in a visual counter on my page as such:

1-4 of 16 results

And when I move forward, the counter should be as follows:

5-9 of 16 results

and so on..

I have the '1-4 of 16 results' all working fine but when I click to go forward, I have the following:

5-4 of 16 results
10-4 of 16 results

and so on, so my question is,

What is the best way to record the second value of the pagination counter to change accordingly? i.e. to know which subset of data it is looking at

Isn't the second value just the first value plus 4, or the total number of results (whichever is smaller)?
