Help concerning my forum

I would like to add a box to the bottom, slightly wider than the forum index but for it to "hug" the bottom of the forum index no matter how long or short the bottom part gets. In the link, I want the top of the new box to start exactly where the white part near the bottom of the boards meets the gray background.

Also, any suggestions on what I could do to make it more appealing with colors or features? Thanks!

You're going need to look up about CSS and HTML for this. It's not really a PHP coding thing. Should be stacks on line about this.

I'd start with the forum for the guys who made your forum software. 🙂
