I get the usual login page when I attempt to do so on phpMyAdmin. I type in my login name and password which is identical to that stored in a config file used by the php coding (in the web pages) to access the database (which it does so successfully).
However, after pushing the "Go" button the page refreshes itself with no error messages displayed. This is the only difference, as I always previously logged in with no problems at all.
The phpMyAdmin does display a message at the bottom "Cannot load mcrypt extension. Please check your PHP configuration." However, this has always been there since day one and I understand is not an issue at all.
