preg_match data from HTML

Hello.

I've got one problem , I don't know pretty much preg_match , so I am asking.

HTML form looks like:

<TD>Profession:</TD><TD>Elder Druid</TD></TR>

 preg_match("@<TD>Profession:</TD><TD>(.+?)</TD></TR>@is", $characterinfo, $matches);
    $character["profession"] = $matches[1];

Through that /\ I can get something similar to:

 Elder Druid

And I would like to get just a name of vocation , except promotion prefix , i.e.

Druid

How Can I fix it?

will there always be a prefix? is it only ever one word? how to do it depends on what range of values you can expect.

You might want to consider the following:

 preg_match("@<TD>Profession:</TD><TD>[\b\w]*(.+?)</TD></TR>@is", $characterinfo, $matches);
    $character["profession"] = $matches[1];

The idea behind this is that you match the whole line while only selecting the last word before the </TD>. Try it and see if that works for you. If you do have a multi-word class though, it will only grab the last word. So, you might want to let us know if this is what you were looking for or if you need to match more and discard only the first word. Can you give more information?
