Thumbnail Script - how to make them bigger?

hi, I found this script on the net and I want to use it for my site. However, the thumbnails it generates are all approx 50x50 pixels. I want them bigger, at about 100x100 pixels. I've tried changing the $maxHeight and $maxWidth but it makes no difference at all. I've even put values of a few thousand in there, and the thumbnails are still the same size. Anyone know what I should be editing? Thanks!

I have helped with code that script.

If width & height can is set before this script (for example 50 and 50)
then setting maxWidth & maxHeight in this code we have here
will not change anything.

What we can do is to unset() those variables
so the values in this code will come into effect.

Try this for the beginning. One new line:

So somewhere in another script I have already set these values? Thanks for the help, and for writing the script in the first place! There are loads of thumbnail scripts on the net, but this is the only one that i vaguely understood!
