socket programming

hello friends
i am using a mobile gprs module as a client and i want to send data to the server in this format "test GET url HTTP/1.1" these are row data there is no other data been send with this data how can i read this data at the server side .i have unix server . The data send from the gprs module is latitude and longitude (vehicle tracking system).
