Display data from MySQL

Hello friends at PHP Builder.com,

I develop we static website with dreamweaver. Want to learn to use PHP, read several PHP books but still having problem on how to display a PHP webpage to load data from MYSQL database.

Please, help, very urgent.

Please don't hijack other users' threads. If you have a question/problem, start a new thread even if it's related to a current thread (to which you can include a link in your new thread, if necessary, for reference).
You're going to have to give us a lot more information that you already have. For example, you haven't answered any of these questions:

What type of data are you trying to retrieve from the database?
How do you want to display this data?
Which part of the process are you having trouble with - retrieving the data from the DB, or displaying it?
What code have you written so far (even if it doesn't work)?
