what's the proper way to write this

I'm trying to write some code that will link the same image to two different places depending on whether or not the visitor is on the home page. I think it goes something like this, but I know that this is not quite right....

Thanks...that worked like a charm, though I'm noticing that only the top portion of the image is clickable....any idea what that's about?

Your image is 'under' the div below it, so only the top portion sticks out where you can click on it. You can fix this by explicitly making the image sit above the div by setting its z-index property, for example:

src="http://www.newseminary.org/wp-content/themes/StudioBlue/StudioBlue/images/logoPurple.png"
