We've been evaluating PHP/MySQL based shopping carts. We will be using it for some of our clients running mid-sized online stores. I'm not looking for recommendations on any other cart. We already evaluated the top 20 most popular carts based on our specific needs, which included things like open source code, loyalty program, PCI compliance, assign product to multiple categories, realtime USPS, UPS and FedEx rates, configurable order statuses with configurable e-mail notifications per status, currency converter, unlimited product options, wish list, send to friend, coupon codes, unlimited product options and attributes, established/stable product, good support community, etc.
Our 3 finalists are Viart, CS-Cart, PrestaShop, and CRE Loaded.
Anyone who has worked with these three carts in the past 6 months I would love to get your input and your 'vote'. We are going to heavily modify the code on any of these three. Anyone who has attempted to heavily modify the code on any one of these I'd love to here your experience also.
Thanks!
