Install updates on client system

Hello Everyone

I want to install updates on the client system if any updates are available on the central server. Anyone can please help me in retrieve the directories and files on central server, so that I can compare them with the client’s version and if files on central server are updated then update clients file too.

How can I do it, anyone can please provide me the solution

Er... you're going to have to give us a lot more information. It also sounds like this has nothing to do with PHP... correct? If so, I have to wonder why you would even pose such a question to a community focused mainly on PHP. 😕

Anyway... some basic info you need to give us:

1. How do you know if updates are "available on the central server?"

2. Are the clients and the "central server" on the same LAN?

3. What operating system are the clients using?

4. How are the clients supposed to access the filesystem of the central server? Does the server have NFS shares that can be mapped as networked drives by the clients?

5. How do you "compare" files to see if they are "updated?" File modification or creation time? File version? Something else?

6. What language were you planning on doing this in?

Actually it was a set of questions for you to answer so that advise could then be given, any advise without answers would meaningless.
