breaking down an array for use

I have a form that produces an array when submitted and I need to strip out the use able data for an update query. The array contains the number of the row needing to be updated and what it needs to be updated with. Here is an example of what I need from the array:
1182 = Active

It's a bit hard to read that output (might consider using the [noparse]

[/noparse] bbcode tags to preserve the formatting in the future), but it looks like you simply need to loop through the array with a [man]foreach[/man] structure, e.g.:

What I meant was use the code tags to preserve the print_r() output formatting (e.g. all of the line breaks and tabbing/whitespace).

Regardless, did you attempt to use a foreach() loop to process the array? If so, where is that attempt?
