No, because element ID's aren't sent in POST queries - only their names.

As such, since the submit button has no name in the form, it was never being sent in the first place.

The code you have would simulate what you're asking. If it's not working, then perhaps you missed some hidden fields.

One easy way to see what's needed/expected by the remote processing script would be to capture the POST request your browser makes when sending that form normally.
