Hello Everyone

I think this can work but I can't at present think how to do it. Just some pointers will help for the time being and I can construct the code from there.

I want to be able to use two tables to help create individual webpages

For example:

Table one: town information
Table two: key words

I want to use the tables to create the address:

www.website/town/keywords
and/or
www.website/keywords/town
and/or
www.website/keywords-town

The page it will land on will be vitually the same but be relevant to the key words/html address.

Any help with this would be great.

apache mod rewrite to take care of the url, redirect all traffic to a page(s), then split up the url and use the values for the db selections

Thank you for the reply. I think I understand what is needed. I just need to learn apache a bit first. I suppose if I am comfortable with PHP/mysql/html etc then Apache should be ok to learn.

Any other pointers would be appriciated but I shall see how I get on.
