[RESOLVED] Problem with unserialize

I have a serialized value stored in my database that I want to build a menu list from:

$query = "SELECT * FROM `UnderviserInfo`";
$result = mysql_query($query)
or die ("Couldn’t execute query.");




echo "
      <select name='Undervis[]' multiple size='10'>\n";


while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)){
$unser_by = unserialize($row['UndervisBy']);


extract($unser_by);


echo "<option value='$unser_by'>$unser_by\n</option>";
}
echo "</select>\n";

What am I doing wrong?

As far as your question, it's difficult to answer without knowing what is in the serialized data. I would suggest not extract()-ing it, but rather testing the elements you need to see if they exist (such as via [man]isset/man), and proceed accordingly. You can use [man]print_r/man to inspect the contents of the unserialized data to help debug.

There was no need to use extract, instead I used a foreach command
