about Glob

hi everybody, the below code work fine.But how to put the result to an array ?
i would like to display something like $filename[3], $filename[6]

the glob command is depend on the file modify day to sort, how to sort by file name?

The filenames are already in an array when you use [man]glob/man, hence why there's a foreach() loop to loop through the array and display the results one-by-one.

Are you sure about that? I've always seen glob() sort by filename only.

Either way, you can sort an array by using [man]sort/man or one of the other sort-related functions (see the manual).

echo "$glob[1]"; and echo "foreachglob[1]"; also does work

i had some files call ac1017-1, ac1017-2, ac1017-3
at the first time i ran glob

the order is correct :
ac1017-1, ac1017-2, ac1017-3

but after i modify ac1017-2, the order change to
ac1017-2, ac1017-1, ac1017-3

does that mean glob sort by modify day ?

I think you might need to find some very basic PHP tutorials and learn how to use the language before diving into a task/project.

If you want to access the result as an array, then you'd first need to store the resulting array from the [man]glob/man function in a variable.
