php.ini wildcards

Searches yield pretty much nothing so I assume the answer is no, but you know what assuming does.

Can you use wildcards in php.ini like httpd.conf?

I have sites at /vhosts/site.com/public_html
I have includes at /vhosts/site.com/includes

Is there a way to set the include_path in php.ini to something like include_path = /vhosts/%HTTP_HOST%/includes ... ?

I am no expert, but I suspect PHP.ini won't let you do that. You might try setting a value for auto_prepend_file. You could maybe set this to some PHP file in the basic include path and you could set the include_path based on some value in $_SERVER
