Adobe Photoshop vs. GD Library

Hello,
I've got a picture that I want to colorize to brown shades.

First of all, I colorize the picture to grayscale (using imagefilter($picture, IMG_FILTER_GRAYSCALE) function) and then colorize it with the same function:

imagefilter($picture,IMG_FILTER_COLORIZE, 100, 50, 0);

BUT the picture doesn't look same as one colorized in photoshop (using R, G, B = 100, 50, 0 in Color Balance)

Are the photoshop values percentages or 0-255 (hex 00-FF) values? The PHP function is the latter (0-255).

Color level, 100 is maximum and -100 is minimum

I think, the problem is in the Preserve Luminosity, because if I uncheck that box, the image looks like much similar to one generated by GD lib.

If the range for each RGB color is -100 to 100, then 100, 50, 0 in photoshop would presumably convert to 255, 191, 127 in the imagefilter() function. Or not. :rolleyes:

Well it doesn't work that way, the image is only yellow and white 🙁
