Reading data into Web Services Request Message

I have been looking everywhere for a script example of reading in data from a text file and then using the text records as data values in a Web Services request message and then storing the reply messages in a different text file. Most likely, the input would be a .csv file and the output could be the same.

Would anyone happen to have such an example that they wouldn't mind sharing?

You would want to do a search for parsing a CSV file. Also look at the [man]fgetcsv[/man] function.

As for storing data in a file you will want to look at PHP's Filesystem Functions. In particular the [man]fopen[/man] or [man]fputcsv[/man] functions.

As for sample all the function links above have samples. In fact most the PHP functions on php.net have samples as well as user contributed samples.

Thank you! I will check those out again and see if I can figure it out. I can get the data, it's parsing it into the Web Services elements that I'm stuck on.
