How can I edit website-content via php-forms (with example-link)?

I am newbie and I have got a question (sorry for my bad english). 😕

I am looking for possibilities to edit some news-content on a website by using a php-form.
The user should be able to add or delete news.

How does this work?
Do you know any sources where I can get similar code?

First off your english is fairly good, at least in written form. You have a good grasp of sentence structure and can use words within the scope of their definition. I have seen much worse.

I am a bit confused on what you are asking, a bit more information may be needed to answer your question. The links are all setup to submit a form, so is the form going to be on the same page as those links? Or are you going to take the user to a different page to fill out the form?

Do you need to know how to access or reference the articles so you can add, edit or delete?

If you just need to know how to write the PHP to process the form once it is submitted look at the [man]superglobal[/man] $_POST (php.net has a german translation).

Well, honestly I don't know what I want :-))))

Let's try with a better example:

There is website like www.abcdefg.de, which contains the site www.abcdefg.de/news/index.php

This site should show some news. The news should be editable by adding some more news on a sub-page called www.abcdefg.de/news/ADMIN/index.php.

As I showed with the example-lionk on my first post, the admin-page should contain an editor.

Well, the only thing I know is that I need an sql-database and that php-forms are involved.
Everybody of my friends say: "look into the internet, there is loads of free php-code, which has just to be changed and adapted"....

So, where is it?
My biggest need is a kind of base, which I can use to learn how the mentioned example (look at the link)is working. If I understand the example I would start learning to adapopt the code regarding my needs...

You would need a database. You will want to see what your web host provides. Typically they will have a MySQL database. And if you want to learn how to work with MySQL and PHP there are some good tutorials on the internet and the [man]mysql[/man] section on php.net has plenty of good information, also.

As for free code for doing what you need, that is bit tricky, not every situation is the same. If you go this route you are probably going to want to use some kind of prepacked solution if you don't feel you can make the entire thing yourself. In which case you would want to look into Joomla, Drupal or Wordpress. These are free with tons of free addons for them. There are others like them but I can't recall them right now.

That page is setup so that when you click the links some javascript submits some form data to the next page.

And while I could walk you through how it works I would say it is a waste of time as the way those links are setup is unnecessarily difficult.

i don't want to use joomla and co. because i doen't want to to rebuild the design in a cms.

Some of those may help. If nothing else they will give you the basics to eventually build your own system.

Do be very careful though many of them are very very old. I generally consider anything over 3 years old to be completely incompatible. Of course even newer code may be out of date. You need to make sure they are compatible with the current version of php on your server. Also note they may use different kinds of databases. Make sure you can use what they are using for a database on your server and that it is compatible with the currently version that is running on your server.

The compatibility issue is bit complicated as usually the script will not say what version it was built for. So you may just have to test it out. Generally, the closer to present day that it was made the better.

The only other one I can think of is hotscripts.com. Of course some of the code on their site has the same issue. You just have to look though it all carefully.

Note that it may be possible that some of the code on either site may have been posted and then maintained on another site. So some of the older code maybe updated you just have to find out if the designer is made a website for their software were they post update versions.
