Need help

I am working on a site where viewer clicks a link and is taken to a page where all products are shown for particular category. list of products is populated and viewer can click on thumbnails to get details for particular product. once on the detail page my client wants to have previous next buttons to stay in the detail page and load previous and next products. i am having hard time figuring this out.

i need to figure out how to store the return of the query into an array maybe?

i am not sure if i can post websites here but i will try:

click on any links on left and it takes you to list of products, then for example there is 10 products in that category and when you click on 5th one it takes you to detail page for that product. i need to make the previous | next buttons to work correctly on this page. right now i just made those to link to another page and it shows the products in detail view but it doesn't show them in the order that they should be (i just sort of made it work but it is not correct)

ok, maybe someone could help me with this scenario... i could get all records matching the same category ID but show one particular record first and than do the previous next links to show the rest of the records...
