unexpected T_VARIABLE

Hello all. I am new to the PHP Builder forums and I just started coding PHP about 6months ago so I apologize if some of my questions seem like "duh" kinds of questions but I have an error I just can't seem to get around:

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in "...../employment.php"on line 269"

When I look at line 269, I don't see any issue. Line 269 is I have attached my code here. Please note some things have been changed for confidentiality purposes, but everything else is exactly as I have it Could someone please see where the syntax could be giving errors? Thanks.

What's $envsender for or what does it contain? Not sure it contains anything.... I think that might be your problem.

On first view I can't see ";" on line 267

$appcertagree = $_POST['appcertagree']

Thanks, ADAMzPRAHY. I totally didn't catch that. I made some other adjustments as well and attached a new copy. Now I'm getting this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in ".../employment.php" on line 285

I know it's telling me that the bracket needs to go but in relation to the code it should be there. I just don't know what would tell me that it isn't supposed to be. I appreciate all the help so far.Thanks.

I put your code into NetBeans IDE and error disappeared, when I added two more bracket - ")" at the end. Are you author of this code?
