[RESOLVED] Can only vote once every day

Well, my friend asked me how would he be able to make it where the people on his site can only vote once every day(right now they can vote as many times as they want), he thinks it involves sql but I truly don't know. I can supply some more detail if needed.

unless you already have a login\user system there's no reliable way. Unreliable ways would be to set cookies, log ip's\user agents that sort of thing.

He does have a user database. So how would you recommend it to be set up?

add a table for votes, add date and user id, check when they vote if they have voted in the last day.
