Possible to code an oscilloscope?

hi guys,

im a newbie at PHP so excuse me if i dont know a lot, im trying to create a website for a university project. im using Php: mysql, and xampp home server.

the project is comparing the videos of 2 benchmarks that have been pre recorded. so on the site, through dropdown boxes you can select 1 system, select another system then select an application that its been benchmarked against, ie Dell vs HP with 3D Mark..

the website show the two videos, but i need to show power data that has been captured. the power data that ive got is in a log file and is in w/second, is it possible to create an oscilloscope that can show this data, and if so can someone help me on how to do this please.

Not real sure what you want to to, but if you mean you want to graph the data in something that looks like an oscilloscope output, you could make use of the [man]image[/man] functions. There are a number of 3rd-party scripts/classes out there for graphing data in all sorts of ways, one of which may provide what you're looking for.
